I’m Garth Minnick, founder of Legacy Records Studio—a space dedicated to preserving life stories with care, authenticity, and heart. I created this company to help individuals and families document the richness of their pasts, honor meaningful milestones, and turn everyday experiences into lasting legacies.

Before launching Legacy Records Studio, I spent many years as a high school English teacher. In that role, I discovered the incredible power of stories—not just in literature, but in the lives of my students, their families, and the wider community. I saw how stories shape identity, preserve culture, and connect generations. That experience, combined with my deep love for interviewing and listening, laid the foundation for what would become my life’s work.

I’m also a proud father of four and the lucky husband of Cassandra. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and it’s a big part of why this work is so meaningful to me. I believe every life, no matter how “ordinary” it might seem, is filled with moments worth remembering. The small triumphs, the turning points, the values passed down quietly over time—they deserve to be heard, shared, and preserved.

At Legacy Records Studio, I guide individuals, couples, and families through intimate, interview-style conversations. Whether we're exploring your childhood memories, documenting your family's migration story, or commemorating a recent wedding or retirement, my goal is to help you speak from the heart and feel truly seen. These sessions are relaxed, thoughtful, and deeply personal—centered around your voice, your pace, and your perspective.
